  20. For what it's worth, -e doesn't do anything in version 8.10, either, but
  21. it's supposed to redirect just standard error, not standard output.  To
  22. redirect standard error, use "2> filename" with the Bourne or Korn
  23. shells, and ">& filename" with the C shell.
